Track of the Day: Daniel Cohen - 'It's You!'

'It's You!', the latest sonic offering by Galway musician Daniel Cohen, was written shortly after the artist got married last year.

As one might expect, it's a joyous and feel good single all about being in love.

With a funky bassline and feel good keys, 'It's You!" is a Flaming Lip-esque infectious track.

Backed by a strong groove and Cohen's deep vocal line, the contrast of the bubblegum pop-y harmonies makes for a vivacious and upbeat listen.

Having worked extensively as a producer, Cohen has been making his own music since 2021 when he recorded a Christmas track for his friends and family in Ireland while living in Belgium.

This experience inspired the artist to create more music since, with "It's You!' marking the musician's 8th single.

The artists first single arrived in 2022 in the form of 'Will You Ride Me Tonight?'.

2 years on  from 'Will You Ride Me Tonight?', Daniel Cohen boasts having  over half a million Spotify streams under his belt along with celebrity fans such as Kevin Costner.

Speaking on 'It's You!' the artist says he hopes the single 'will bring some love into the world'.
