Track of the Day: Belters Only - 'My Mind'

The Irish DJ collective Belters Only have shared their new single, 'My Mind' via Polydor Records.

A viral social media success, soulful 'My Mind' inspired by the Yebba single, also titled 'My Mind.' Of course, the Dublin-based musicians put their own spin on the club bop, including punchy percussion and melodic keys, manifesting into the perfect synth groove.

Yebba's original track was first unveiled back in 2016. The Grammy Award winning singer-songwriter performed it for Sofar Sounds before dropping the single on DSP. That's how the song came to the attention of Belters Only. The rest is history.

Belters Only is an Irish duo made up of producers Bissett and RobbieG. Their past work includes their Soundcloud-only project Irish Only and their EP 2022 Only.

Together, they've gone on to break through into UK's Official Biggest Songs of 2022 chart, with songs like 'Make Me Feel Good' reaching renowned success as the 2nd biggest selling song of 2022 in Ireland and the 12th biggest song of the year in the UK.

The pair have also been nominated for Irish Breakthrough Artist of the Year at the Choice Music Prize. The awards will be announced Thursday, March 9th.
