Matt Ó of Tebi Rex has released his second solo single, 'Boat Song'.

Produced by Chris Kabs, who also collaborated on Matt's previous single 'Lovely', it's a silky R&B-tinged track. He shows his somber side as he sings about isolation and being let down.

"When you've been let down by someone you trust - it's daunting & lonely. Kind of like rowing a boat by yourself", he says.

And while the song may be about loneliness, it feels anything but empty. The instrumental compliments smooth vocals with a beautiful soundscape comprised of immersive synths and a trap-inspired beat. A touch of brass adds a sleek jazziness to the modern electronic sounds. 'Boat Song' is a definite earworm and it's exciting to hear Matt experimenting with his solo sound.
