Track of the Day: Corner Boy's 'Moira (Under The Pale Moonlight)'
The Wexford five-piece have recently returned from a 6 date tour of South Korea.
Over 3 years after their last EP dropped, Corner Boy will be returning this November with their newest opus. Looking ahead to that, the band's second single of 2018 is set for release after 'Goodbye Old Holy' caught our attention in June. 'Moira (Under The Pale Moonlight)' is set to be widely released this Friday September 21st, however Hot Press can provide an exclusive first listen to the track via the embedded Soundcloud link below.
The group appear to be onto another winner here, with Mick D’Arcy providing another fiery vocal performance alongside the band's traditional folk and contemporary infused sounds. Produced by Grammy award winning producer Ted Hutt, the song's powerful progressions have already seen it make the RTÉ Radio 1 recommended playlist for this month. Keep an eye out for a string of live shows soon to be announced for November too, which will support the release of the single and subsequent EP.
