Too Many Drugs
Written by Damien Butler and the band, this is a delightful melange of hippy vibes, Celtic rock, punk attitude and infectious hooks. It has a restless percussive drive that takes over where The Pale left off, an accordion and a bouzouki high on something, and Eoin McNeill’s frenzied vocals. ‘You Shook Me All Night Long’ is a crafty marriage of the AC/DC classic and Shane MacGowan’s Rainy Night In Soho’. Magic!
