Thy Art Is Murder announce Irish tour dates, beginning in October
Tickets will be available below.
Thy Art Is Murder has announced a headline show at Dublin’s The Academy, set for October 10.
Supported by Heriot and Survivalist, the band will also appear at Dolan's Warehouse in Limerick on October 8 and Belfast’s The Limelight on October 9. Tickets go on sale this Friday.
The blackened death metal band from Australia has become known for their intense sound and inspired social commentary. They’ve performed at festivals like Download, Wacken, Graspop, Hellfest and Summer Breeze, while sharing stages with bands such as Cannibal Corpse, Slayer, Kreator, Lamb Of God and Parkway Drive.
In Australia, they’ve become two-time ARIA award-nominees. They made history as the first Australian extreme metal band to hit the ARIA Top 40, achieving the highest charting album of their genre with a No. 5 placement for Dear Desolation, released in 2017.
Back in 2023, the band dropped their sixth record Godlike. The album was produced and mixed by Will Putney, and received critical acclaim. Following this release, they went on their largest-ever headline tour and secured a mainstage festival slot in Knotfest Australia.
Beginning in June, Thy Art Is Murder will also embark on a regional tour across Australia.
Tickets will be available here.
