Thumper, Tolü Makay, Zen Arcade and more to play Viva Palooza this summer

Tickets for Viva Palooza go on sale this Friday.

Viva Palooza, a new series of live outdoor shows, has been announced for the August Bank Holiday – taking place in Joe Lee's Bar & Music Venue, Tullamore, Co. Offaly, from July 30 to August 1.

The line-up, organised by Cherrycool, the promoters behind Castlepalooza, includes some of the top talent in the country, including New Jackson, A. Smyth, AILSHA, Gemma Dunleavy, Thumper, Tolü Makay and The Zen Arcade – plus more acts yet to be announced.

This summer's event follows the success of Cherrycool Promotions' Après Palooza in December 2020, which featured 10 individually curated events in the outdoor beer garden of Joe Lee's Bar – transformed into a rustic ski lodge for the occasion.

Viva Palooza will also feature performances from comedians Colm O'Regan, Gearoid Farrelly and Tony Cantwell.

The event is part-funded by the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media, from the Live Performance Support Scheme.
