Abel Tesfaye aka The Weeknd has donated $250,000 to the Black Lives Matter network.
The Weekend, real name Abel Tesfaye, is best known for his hit 'I Can't Feel My Face' donated a quarter of a million dollars to the Black Lives Matter network.
This comes a week after Tesfaye donated $50,000 to the University of Toronto towards it's new Ethiopic Studies program.
Tesfaye has been a vociferous supporter of BLM and has on numerous occasions used the hashtag #BLM and the more combative #BlueLivesMurder.
enough is enough. it's time to stand up for this. we can either sit and watch, or do something about it. the time is now. #blacklivesmatter
