The Waterboys: Spring Shows & New Album
The Waterboys make what’s becoming their annual St. Patrick’s week pilgrimage to Ireland for shows in the NEC, Killarney (March 17); The Point, Dublin (18); UCH, Limerick (20); Radisson Hotel, Galway (21); Radisson Hotel, Sligo (23); and Waterfront, Belfast (25).
According to a ‘boys spokesperson, “The Point promises to be a gig with a difference – deviating from its normal stadium style, promoters and band are forming a theatre-style venue by reducing capacity and creating a hugely intimate environment and ambiance.”
The other good news is that Mike Scott & Co. have a new album, Book Of Lightening, in the can and awaiting March 9 release.
