The Undertones headline Good Vibes gig
It's taking place in Belfast's Mandela Hall in May.
The Undertones (who else!) take care of headlining duties on May 15 when the Mandela Hall plays host to Good Vibes From Belfast, the sequel to the Good Vibes – Celebrating A Light In The Darkness bash in 2008, which was noteworthy for the fulsome tribute paid to Good Vibrations head honcho Terri Hooley by Bill Clinton.
“People really loved the first gig not just because of the great music but also because it was such a positive celebration,” reflects organiser Arthur Magee. “It seemed a shame to let this just slip away, so we’ve decided to try and build on it and hold regular Good Vibes From Belfast events that focus on the positives of life here. This year’s concert will be a celebration of Thomas McCabe’s opposition to the formation of The Belfast Slave Ship Company in the 1800s.”
Also on the bill are Pocket Billiards, Acoustic Dan and special guests still to be confirmed. Tickets are €16.
