The Undertones Announce 40th Anniversary Show

Coming of age in Derry during 1976, The Undertones went on to become associated with the infamous Good Vibrations record label in Belfast and set their mark on rock and roll history with the legendary 'Teenage Kicks'. A song that BBC's John Peel liked so much he played it twice in a row on his radio show. Ironic seeing as the band received most of their musical education from listening to the legendary DJ's radio show.

Since 1999 the band have reconvened without Feargal Sharkey under the stewardship of Today FM's Paul McCloone. The fellow Derry man convinced any detractors with his electric presence on stage and punk prowess.

Tickets for the fortieth anniversary show go on sale Friday at 10am. The Undertones will being their show to Middle Abbey Street May 21 and tickets are €25 including booking fee.
