The Ultras announce debut single and first headline show at Whelan’s
The Dublin-based five piece will be supported by Delush and Further Line at Whelan's on Friday.
Indie rock band The Ultras have announced the release of their debut single 'With the Sound', coinciding with their first headline show at Whelan's Upstairs on Friday, July 25.
Formed earlier this year, The Ultras are comprised of vocalist Jay O'Donoghue, lead guitarist Luke Whearity and bassist Matthew Gaffney, along with Bernard McDonnell and Jack Kelly on both drums and guitar.
'With the Sound' will debut on Friday. Beardfire Studios, a Dublin-based production studio and record label, was credited with audio production for the track.
The Ultras played to a packed house at Workman’s Cellar in May and Main Room in June. Their Friday gig will take place at Whelan's Upstairs in Dublin, and they will be supported by fellow emerging Dublin bands Delush and Further Line.
Tickets are available now via the Whelan’s website.
