The Thrills announce festival date
After confirming their return to action with a new album and Irish tour, The Thrills have stepped up another gear with news of a festival appearance.
The Dublin fivesome are set to take a trip across the Irish Sea to play the V Festival, which takes place at Hylands Park, Chelmsford, Essex and Weston Park, Staffordshire on Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 August.
Also newly-added to the event are McFly, Rilo Kiley, Glenn Tilbrook and the Fluffers, and The Hours, who join a line-up that includes The Killers, Foo Fighters, Snow Patrol, Kasabian, Pink, James, Kanye West, KT Tunstall, James Morrison, Basement Jaxx, The Kooks, Amy Winehouse, Manic Street Preachers, Primal Scream and Damien Rice among others. Phew!
We've yet to see whether The Thrills, who as previously reported support the 20 July release of Teenager with a five-date tour of Ireland, will be included as a late addition to the Oxegen bill.
