The Strypes & Jerry Fish lead Chatroom additions
We've a host of great Irish acts now confirmed to be joining us in the Hot Press Chatroom at Electric Picnic.
We're thrilled this morning to able to confirm nine fantastic homegrown acts for the Hot Press Chatroom this weekend.
Just confirmed are those young chart-toppers from Cavan, The Strypes, as well as Jerry Fish, who will be heading up his Electric Sideshow at the festival.
Other new additions signed up to pass through our tent flaps and join our journos for a chat and a tune are Girl Band, The Altered Hours, The Minutes, Vann Music, The Academic, Booka Brass Band and Cronin.
Already announced are Ásgeir, Mogwai, Walking On Cars, We Cut Corners, Le Galaxie, The Lost Brothers, The Frank And Walters and Picnic veterans Dublin Gospel Choir. There's also some comic relief lined up with appearances Colm O'Regan, Patrick McDonnell and stellar troupe Foil, Arms and Hog.
With a mix of signings, interviews, acoustic sessions and a rake of goodie bags, it'll be well worth getting down early.
There are lots more names still to be announced so keep checking back for more announcements!
