The Stars (Are Out Tonight)
Much like ethereal comeback tune 'Where Are We Now?', 'The Stars (Are Out Tonight)' is not a 'Let's Dance'-style singalong number begging for a karaoke crossover. It is, rather, a poppy but noisy enigma that matches Bowie's thespian bellows with oodles of high fashion riffage. It's also as clever as any Bowie track, and just as enjoyable, if you can forgive the lack of a full-on jingle.
