The Script announce special intimate show at The Grand Social

The Script have announced a special intimate show at The Grand Social in Dublin on December 10.

The date comes as an addition to their upcoming The Man In The Arena Tour and is part of their Irish Pub Sessions.

The Irish rock band will play two shows at Dublin’s 3Arena on October 30 and 31 before heading to Belfast on November 2. They will go on to play several dates across the UK, Germany, The Netherlands and Belgium, ending back in Dublin for their performance at The Grand Social.

On July 10, they dropped their latest single, ‘The Crowd Was Singing Wonderwall’, drawing inspiration from Oasis’ Live ’25 tour last year.

Before that, in May, they announced their new album The User’s Guide To Being Human, which is out August 14. Alongside the announcement, they released ‘Man in the Arena’, which was A-listed by BBC Radio 2.

The Script was formed in 2001 by lead singer Danny O’Donoghue, guitarist Mark Sheehan and drummer Glen Power. They gained international fame with their self-titled debut album in 2008.

After Sheehan’s passing in April 2023, bassist Ben Sargeant and guitarist Ben Weaver were added to the lineup. After that, they released their seventh studio album, Satellites, in 2024.

Additionally, they completed their run as special guests to Take That’s The Circus Live tour last month.
