The Saw Doctors share new football-inspired track ahead of Ireland's World Cup qualifier
The Co. Galway folk-rockers are gearing up for the most anticipated Irish football game in the past decade with a new single.
The Saw Doctors have released a new single celebrating Ireland's upcoming World Cup qualifier.
Titled 'Glorious Days of Summer', the jubilant track sees the Tuam-based folk-rockers "calling out all over the world" to celebrate a massive football victory for Ireland.
London producer Philip Tennant remixed the track with The Saw Doctors. The result is a high-energy romp with layered guitars and an irresistible beat, perfect for a pre-game.
Ireland's World Cup qualifier against Czechia will take place in Prague on Thursday, March 26. It's the most anticipated Irish football match since Euro 2016.
This year's World Cup will take place in North America across eleven cities in the United States, three in Mexico, and two in Canada.
Last year, The Saw Doctors played a rollicking show at Electric Picnic's Electric Arena. Revisit our review here.
