Maybe it's the double saxophone, but Any Other City signees Hired Hands seem like an eternally joyful group of people, so the happily plodding chamber pop of 'The Quay Wall' is the perfect tune to whet appetites for the band's debut album. Vocalist Dearbhla Minogue will attract more than a few comparisons with folk noblewoman Joanna Newsom when My Heart Hung is released on April 22, but the orchestral HH sound should also appeal to those with a penchant for the twee.
