The odd couple?
U2 deny reports of an outdoor New York show with, eh, Bon Jovi
U2 have officially denied reports that they're playing an outdoor gig in New York with Bon Jovi.
According to the New York Post, the band had agreed to follow up their half-time Superbowl appearance with an outdoor NFL 'start of the season' show in Times Square.
Not so says a spokesman who insists, "There are no plans for any live dates this year."

The better news is that October is likely to see the release of a new U2 single, 'Electric Storm'. That'll be followed on November 18 by their second Greatest Hits package which will also include the theme-tune they've recorded for the new Francis Ford Copolla movie, The Hands That Built America.
