Herbie, Dilla and the divine Miss Ross all turn up in one form or another on this swoonworthy EP by Cork DJ Colm K, which Brooklyn label Bastard Jazz is hosting on its Soundcloud page. An aptly-named record if ever I’ve come across one, this puppy dog-eyed four-tracker delivers exclusively good vibrations, from instantly addictive nu-funk ditties like ‘The Attic’ to high romance numbers like ‘Good Fridays’ and ‘Nothing’.
