It's easy to slag Flavour Of The Year Clare Maguire for shamelessly belting out her blues-y pop tunes like Annie Lennox, but the more I listen to 'The Last Dance', the more I'm convinced that it would have been a record-crushing No. 1, had it been released in the '80s. Provided, of course, that Ms. Maguire got herself a nutty haircut.
