The Killer's share new song 'Your Side of Town' ahead of Electric Picnic

The Killers have released their latest single ‘Your Side of Town.”

“Hello everyone, with much excitement we present you with ‘Your Side of Town,'” said the band on social media, announcing the song.

“It’s got the ghosts of a lot of synth music that inspired us over the years. And yet somehow feels completely our own. Now it’s yours! Turn it up.”

‘Your Side of Town’ is the American group’s first release since last year’s single ‘boy’. The new 80s-inspried track was produced by that band alongside Stuart Price and Shawn Everett.

Brendan Flowers and co. are currently on the road and are headlining this year’s Electric Picnic in Stradbally, Co. Laois next week.

Earlier this month, The Killers issued an apology after inviting a Russian fan on stage to play drums during a concert in the Eastern European state of Georgia. “We recognize that a comment, meant to suggest that all of The Killers’ audience and fans are ‘brothers and sisters’ could be misconstrued,” they wrote in a statement. “We did not mean to upset anyone and we apologize. We stand with you and hope to return soon.”
