The Jagermeister Freezer Sessions will hit The Forum in Waterford on Saturday, 4th June in what promises to be a night of outstanding entertainment with music from General Fiasco, Royseven, The Minutes and Solar Taxi.
These acts have stormed onto the Irish music scene, amassing an ever-growing and fervent fanbase on their way.
General Fiasco are being hailed as one of the bands in Ireland and the UK most likely to make a major breakthrough in 2011. Last year saw the release of their debut long-player, the pop punk gem that is Buildings and they achieved a No. 5 position on the UK indie charts for the single ‘Ever So Shy’.
Six-piece Royseven came to prominence as the first unsigned act to headline at the Olympia back in 2005. They were snapped up by Universal Music in Germany and released the debut album The Art of Insincerity five years ago.
Dublin three-piece The Minutes are currently one of the hottest breakthrough acts on the Irish circuit. With an impressive store of instantly catchy indie-pop tunes, the boys have gathered momentum through regular radio rotation and widely praised appearances on RTE’S Other Voices and The Saturday Night Show.

Featuring the flame-haired, guitar-toting Aisling Browne on vocals, Waterford quartet Solar Taxi cut a fine line between uptown Brooklyn electro funk and downtown scuzz rock. Think Goldfrapp and The Knife: disco diva vocals set against crisp dance rhythms and a little bit of alt-rock bite.
The doors open at 9:30. Make sure to get there early because you don't want to miss any of these performances!
