The Frames announced for Galway International Arts Festival after Kaiser Chiefs reschedule
Tickets for The Frames go on sale this Friday.
Following their unforgettable 30th anniversary performance at the Royal Hospital Kilmainham in Dublin, The Frames have been announced for Galway International Arts Festival – replacing the Kaiser Chiefs, whose performance has been rescheduled until next year.
Presented by the festival and Róisín Dubh, The Frames will play Live at the Heineken Big Top on Saturday, July 23.
According to a statement shared on social media by Galway International Arts Festival, the Kaiser Chiefs' show has been rescheduled to July 27, 2023. All existing tickets will be valid for next year's show.
"It is with regret, that the Kaiser Chiefs’ have to reschedule their Galway date this summer," the statement shared by the festival reads. "The band today sent their apologies to fans explaining that the decision had been made due to personal circumstances beyond their control."
Also taking to social media, The Frames noted that they are "delighted we get to do it all again!"
This Galway show is likely to be the band's only other other Irish gig for some time. They last played the festival in 2002.
Tickets for The Frames at the Galway International Arts Festival on July 23 go on sale this Friday, June 10, at 10am. For more information see giaf.ie
