The Firepit
Chart-topping superstud Matt Henshaw (just kidding, I'd never heard of him either) calls his music "B-boy soul", and having listened to a five-track EP by the name of The Firepit, I can honestly say there's no better description for the sound the UK crooner makes. '60s soul grooves meld with '90s hip hop beats on the EP's title track, but it's Henshaw's impossibly smooth sha-waddy-wahs that really sold me. Pretty fly stuff.
