The Duke & The King make their Irish debut
They're in Belfast, Dublin & Kilkenny.
New York soul-folk-glam merchants – it’ll all make sense when you hear them! – The Duke & The King play Auntie Annie’s, Belfast (April 29); Academy 2, Dublin (30); and the Guinness Kilkenny Rhythm & Routes Festival (May 1 & 2).
Hailing from New York’s Catskills Mountains, the Jools Holland faves will be showcasing their debut Nothing Gold Can Stay album, which couldn’t be accused of setting the charts alight when it came out last year, but is well worth a punt.
In case you're wondering, they're named after the traveling Shakespearean hustlers in The Adventures Of Huckleberry Finn.
Tickets are €12.50.
