The blonde ambition tour
Young, gifted and white: Italian-American rap bombshell Princess Superstar sashays her booty into the Red Box. Lock up your brothers
Rap fans are in for a treat on March 2nd when Her Royal Rhymeness, Princess Superstar, makes her Dublin debut at the Red Box.
"I get really crazy," she reveals. "One thing I hate about a lot of hip hop is that it's all 'put your hands in the air', 'let me hear you say yeah!' It's so boring.
"I definitely come from the school of punk rock and theatrical stuff on stage. People want to see a show. I have a live band, this sick DJ, another MC. It's pretty great, if I say so myself!"
Prior to that comes the release this week of Princess Superstar Is…, a suitably bad-assed collection of songs which includes contributions from Kool Keith, Beth Orton and Jzone.
