Sudan Archives announces Dublin show and new album THE BPM
She will play in The Academy on December 8.
American musician Sudan Archives has announced a headline show in Dublin’s The Academy for Monday, December 8, 2025 as part of The BPM EU/UK 2025 Tour.
The show comes in support of her upcoming album The BPM – Brown Prom Queen, due out in October 2025 via Strong Throw, the follow-up to her 2022 record Natural.
She also released the lead singles ‘YEA YEA YEA’, as well as ‘MY TYPE’, accompanied by a music video directed by Ben Dickey and Eric Terhune.
Check out ‘MY TYPE’ below:
THE BPM was partially completed in Chicago and Detroit, embracing the club sounds from those cities while taking in everything from Jersey club to contemporary global dance musics and experimental beatwork.
It explores themes of mental illness, self-love, technology, romance and heartbreak, through the persona of Gadget Girl, a technologically advanced musician who’s exalted by her embrace of technology.
On the record, Sudan Archives, aka Brittney Parks, says: “I was never the girl in a band in high school – I could only express myself for the first time when I got my first iPad and started making beats on it, and when I got my first electric violin. I’m all gadget girled out now, but I’ve never felt so free as a human.”
Tickets for Sudan Archives’ show in Dublin’s The Academy go on sale this Friday, July 18 here.
