Stream Sufjan Stevens new mixtape
After a two and a half year hiatus, Sufjan Stevens has reemerged with his latest offering, ‘The Greatest Gift’. Dubbed as a collection of “outtakes, remixes and demos” from his sombre acoustic album, 'Carrie & Lowell' released in 2015.
The new mixtape offers previously unreleased ‘Wallowa Lake Monster’ and an iPhone demo of ‘John My Beloved’. There’s a Helado Negro remix of ‘Death with Dignity’ and a fantastic reworking of ‘Fourth of July’ by fellow Asthmatic Kitty Records label mate 900x.
The album is available to stream now over on NPR and is due to be released this coming Friday, 24th November.
