ASIWYFA haven't always been able to represent their brain-squelching, guitar-based brilliance on wax but listening to 'Straight Through The Sun', it's clear that doing justice to their madcap live shows isn’t really their raison d'être. This one-off single is a peerless example of the kind of kinetic creativity that seems to flow so effortlessly from the ASIWYFA household - nothing short of post-rock witchcraft could make a sound so instantly consuming.
