Stones Throw Podcast 66

The marvellous Stateside funksters who regularly serve up music from Mayer Hawthorne, Aloe Blacc, Madlib, Dam-Funk and the late, great J Dilla have been knocking out free podcasts since 2006, but number 66, as stitched together by special guest beatmaker Flying Lotus, is probably their finest yet. Pumped full of dreamy '70s lady soul (of course it’s a genre…) and Middle Eastern rumbles, here you'll find 32 minutes of sound so divergent, it'd be ridiculous to try and sum it up.
