Starships
Minaj’s dynamite personality is nowhere to be found on ‘Starships’, a throbbing, RedOne-masterminded Britney-esque club stomper that will almost certainly spend the next six months at the top of the charts in spite of the fact that its mind-numbingly predictable melody leaves this particular writer cold. Bafflingly, it took eight people to write and four to produce. A clear-cut case of too many cooks spoiling the pop.
