Sensitive acoustic folk meets lighthearted rap in Dublin trio The Original Rudeboys and surprise surprise, it’s a thoroughly unsettling combination. Their Facebook lists Kanye West and John Mayer as influences, which makes a whole lotta sense when you hear their debut single ‘Stars In My Eyes’. The lyrics, about busking on Grafton St. and pining for a bigger stage, are definitely the best thing about this hopeful number.
