It's been nearly two years since sunny duo Carosel released their debut long-player Kaleidoscope, and with an EP as cheery as Star on the way, I can only assume that they've moved country in the meantime. Sweet, catchy and full of quirk, the title-track calls to mind the carefree sway of She and Him. As candy-coated pop goes, it really doesn't get much breezier than this.
