Sound!
Literally. The Sound Training Centre at Dublin's Temple Bar Music Centre are having a free open day this Saturday - and everything from a peek at the Music Centre's sound desk to free-gratis-and-for-nothing advice, is on offer
Dublin’s Sound Training Centre in Temple Bar are holding a free-of-charge open day on Saturday, May 18th for people who are interested in a career in the music industry. It's a chance, as we were told, to "come in and view the facilities and get a feel for what it's like to work in the music industry."
The STC’s five recording studios, as well as the Temple Bar Music Centre venue itself, will be open to the public from 11.30am to 4pm.
And it's not only the facilities which are being made available to the public on Saturday: free advice is also on deck.
"There will be sound engineers, lighting engineers, roadies, back-line technicians, programmers, re-mixers, professional songwriters and loads of other people on hand to answer questions from the public."
