Sónar Announces 2016 Line-Up At Its Barcelona HQ

Sónar has become an annual pilgrimage for this small country's mass of electronic music fans and the line up this year is just as enticing as ever.

By day Sónar will return again to the beautiful surrounds of Fira Montjuic while by night it will move to the outskirts of the Catalan city into the industrial surrounds of Fira Gran Via L'Hospitalet.

This year will see ANOHNI, an alias for Antony Hegarty from Antony and the Johnsons presenting the European premiere of HOPELESSNESS, a project he has going with producers and esteemed musicians in their own right Oneohtrix Point Never and Hudson Mohawke. John Luther Adams’ climate change opera Become Ocean will also have it’s European premiere during the festival while New Order, Fatboy Slim and Irish favourite John Grant will also perform at the twenty-third edition of the festival.

Early bird passes are now on sale from €165. The festival runs from 16 to 18 June.
