SOAK among additions to Eurosonic lineup

NI Music Prize winner, Mercury Prize nominee and newly-announced EBBA winner SOAK is among the big name additions to the lineup for Eurosonic.
The Groningen showcase and conference has become Europe's answer to SXSW, so it's little surprise that acts are RSVP-ing in the affirmative at a rate of knots.
Among them is Ms Monds-Watson, who'll be picking up a prestigious European Border Breaker Award while at the event. She did let the news slip to Hot Press already, and told us she'll be flying back from Australia purely to do her thing at an event which opened doors for her 12 months ago.
Fellow EBBA recipients Álvaro Soler, Oscar And The Wolf and Seinabo Sey will also be making the trip, as will Norwegian sensation Aurora - she of the John Lewis ad fame.
Afterpartees, Douglas Firs, Filous, Forever Pavot, Hydrogen Sea, James Hersey and Lea Porcelain complete the additions to the continental carnival, which this year runs January 13-16.
