Snow Patrol re-release early albums

Snow Patrol’s former record company, Jeepster, cash in on the band’s newfound success by re-releasing their Songs For Polarbears and When It’s All Over We Still Have To Clear Up albums in expanded form.

Originally released in 1998, the former comes with nine bonus tracks – ‘Sticky Teenage Twins’, ‘Limited Edition’, ‘JJ’, ‘My Last Girlfriend’, ‘T.M.T.’, ‘I Could Stay Away Forever’, ‘When You’re Right You’re Right (Darth Vader Bringing In His Washing Mix)’, ‘Raze The City’ and ‘Riot, Please’.
The latter, which first saw the light of day in 2001, has five additions – ‘In Command Of Cars’, ‘Talk To The Trees’, ‘Monkey Mobe’, ‘Workwear Shop’ and the ‘Ask Me How I Am’ video.
The albums hit the racks here on April 24 and in the States on May 16.
Meanwhile, if you’re living within earshot of BBC Radio Ulster, Stuart Bailie presents the Snow Patrol Story at 10pm on Friday May 5.
Along with Messrs. Lightbody and Connolly, you’ll also hear from Colin Murray, Iain Archer, Maeve Quigley, Jacknife Lee and Gary’s mum, Lynne.
