Slim pickin's
Whether it's Portrush, Dublin or Waterford, Fatboy Slim is your weapon of choice for Paddy's Weekend 2002
Fan of the aul' sod that he is, Fatboy Slim is playing not one, not two, but three gigs here over the Paddy's Day Weekend.
Kicking off at Lush in Portrush on the 15th, he then takes his unfeasibly big box of records to the Red Box, Dublin (16th) and South, Waterford (17th).
According to resident Hot Press dance guru Mark Kavanagh: "Red Box owner John Reynolds has rubbished the suggestion that Fatboy's appearance there will be the first Irish club event with a £50 ticket, but has not denied that Norm is getting six figures for the three Irish dates."
Prior to that comes the February 25th release of Live On Brighton Beach, Stormin' Norman's latest mix CD which was recorded last summer in front of 35,000 up-for-it for punters.
