Sleepless
Their CD cover image bears a disturbing resemblance to a Simon and Garfunkel promo shot from 1968. However, there's a distinctly new noise coming out of Swedish electro-poppers Lo-Fi-Fnk. In fact, there’s several new noises: an oddly careless vocal, a sneaky piano line and an avant garde dance wallop. Hell, even the Benny Hill-esque sax solo, which seems laughable at the outset makes the world of sense by the end of these three minutes. Mental, yes. Bad, no.
