“Forget what you know about Kelly Osbourne,” screams the accompanying press release. “Get ready for a surprise.” Certainly the '80s dance club vibe which proliferates throughout is an unexpected shift in direction for the young Osbourne. It’s not a record you can imagine Ozzie enjoying, but on tracks such as ‘Secret Lover’ Kelly seems to have found her niche. Here, at her best, she comes across all Debbie Harry. Trouble is, when she’s at her worst, ('Edge Of Your Atmosphere') there’s an '80s karaoke vibe, with woeful Tetris style electronica. More bad then good then, but Kelly has the money, and profile, to forge a career yet.
