Slayer announce two Irish summer shows
The US metal group will play Dublin and Belfast this June
The mighty Slayer are Ireland-bound in June for shows in the Academy, Dublin (10) and Limelight, Belfast (12), which one suspects will sell-out in double-quick time.
By then the Californian thrashers should have a new album to follow up 2009’s World Painted Blood.
The Big 4 members may or may not be without drummer Dave Lombardo who was left behind for their recent Australian tour due to a financial dispute. Neither side has clarified whether or not the decision is a permanent one.

Whoever’s manning the kit, you’re in for a hot and heavy night with Slayer rightly regarded as seminal as Metallica, Anthrax and Megadeth who they memorably toured with in 2010/’11.
