Sky Pointing
Flaccid Soft-Rock from these here parts
Everything about the Garrett Wall Band screams M.O.R. From the inoffensive acoustic guitar strums to the “heartfelt” vocals to the very name of the band, it’s clear from the start that there is no in-between ground when it comes to ,Sky Pointing. Unfortunately, this writer is less than charmed by the soft-rock songs on offer. It’s not that the music is badly written or sloppy, it’s just that it all sounds a little sanitised (‘So Glad’) and as limp as a nervous porn star (‘Terra Firma’). Still, we’re sure a legion of Irish aunties will love it.
