Sister Ghost announces Ireland and UK tour dates
Tickets are on sale now.
Sister Ghost will kick off her upcoming tour on September 11 at The Union Bar, Belfast followed by a show at Bello Bar, Dublin on September 20.
She will also play a free unplugged show in Bangor at the Fealty's Bar on September 27.
After spending the summer touring in California, Derry musician Shannon Delores O’Neill is back to play four dates (with more to come) around Ireland and the UK to promote her debut album Beyond The Water, released in October last year.
The album was recorded in Los Angeles with producer Brad Wood, who previously worked with artists such as Liz Phair and Veruca Salt, and drummer Jeff Friedl, who played with A Perfect Circle and DEVO.
Beyond The Water, a fusion between art-rock and dark power-pop, was born out of the isolation of the pandemic. “I’m so proud of this album,” O'Neill says. “It’s something positive born out of a dark time.”
Hot Press praised the work, calling it a “hugely accomplished debut.”
She has shared stages with Snow Patrol, Fontaines DC, We Are Scientists, Pussy Riot, and Shellac, along with winning Best Live Act at the NI Music Prize 2019.
Tickets for the Beyond The Water UK + Ireland tour are on sale now via Eventbrite and Dice.
