Simon Cowell speaks out on One Direction’s future
Mentor, manager, and creator of One Direction, Simon Cowell, doesn't know whether One Direction’s hiatus is a break or a break-up.
Simon Cowell, whom created and managed One Direction, is unsure of whether the group will return after they have time working on solo projects.
In Cowell’s recent Billboard cover story, he says “I don’t think they’ve had enough time to experience what it’s like not being in the group to really answer that” when asked if they would be getting back together.
So far, the boys are working on a variety of different projects. From Niall’s venture into the professional golf world to Harry’s Hollywood casting rumor, it certainly does not look like they will be getting back together anytime soon.
But One Direction is young and with the promise of new management, freedom, and a new sound, there is no reason why they couldn’t come back together in the future.
