Sigrid announces gig in Dublin
Sigrid gained international attention with the release of her debut EP, Don’t Kill My Vibe in 2017. Since then, the Norwegian singer-songwriter has released her hit single ‘Strangers’ and been the recipient of the BBC Music Sound of 2018.
Sigrid will play the Olympia Theatre on Monday 5th November. This is the second date of the singer’s European tour, and marks her return to Ireland following her sold-out gig at the Academy.
This announcement follows the release of her new song ‘Focus (Demo)’, which the Norwegian pop star wrote at 17-years-old. The emotive piano ballad hasn’t changed since its inception and was recorded in one take by Sigrid. The visual to accompany the track is an abstract collaboration with Moth Studio, showing physical memories, in the form of colourful shapes that inhabit the human body.
'Focus' appears on Sigrid's latest EP, Raw.
Tickets go on sale Friday 22nd June at 9am and start at €28.90.
