Shawn Colvin celebrates 30 years of A Few Small Repairs with Irish gigs in October

Shawn Colvin has announced she will play Belfast's Mandela Hall on October 19 and Dun Laoghaire's Pavilion Theatre on October 20 and 21.
The shows come as Colvin celebrates 30 years since the release of her Grammy-winning album, A Few Small Repairs.
A Few Small Repairs was released in 1996, featuring the hit ‘Sonny Come Home', which received the Grammy Award for Song of the Year. The album won the Grammy for Record of the Year and went on to sell over 1 million copies in the US.
In the 30 years since, Colvin has released thirteen superlative albums, written a memoir, Diamond in the Rough, and appeared in several films and television shows, including the films Grace of My Heart, Heartbreakers and Crazy, as well as TV shows The Larry Sanders Show, Suddenly Susan, The Simpsons, Fame L.A., and Baywatch.
Colvin has performed and recorded with an array of musical stars, including Emmylou Harris, Alison Krauss, James Taylor and Sting.
