Shake It Out

Florence Welch’s all-shrieking, all-pounding new single huddles so close to her Lungs-made formula, it’s almost instantly familiar. There are definitely better songs than ‘Shake It Out’ on Ceremonials, the long, long, long-awaited second album from banshee frontwoman Flo, but this euphoric goth-dance number is a nice taster of the sky-scraping brilliance that’s yet to come.
