September Girls - Green-Eyed

One of the stand-out tracks on the recently-released, reverb-drenched debut that was Cursing the Sea, ‘Green-Eyed’ is the Dublin-based quintet at the very peak of their powers. Indebted, in part, to ‘Look In My Diary’ by ‘60s girl group Reparata And The Delrons, the gloriously gloomy offering has an ace call-and-response hook, drums that call to mind Budgie from the Banshees and a haunting, gothy guitar riff.
