Scale It Back

I’ve been keeping my eye on Swedish electro nerds Little Dragon for a while now (try listening to their heartbreaking 2007 track ‘Twice’ and not reducing to a snivelling pile of human mush) so in my mind, it’s very good news indeed that they’ve hooked up with splicer dicer extraordinaire DJ Shadow. ‘Scale It Back’ shows both artists at the top of their game – Yukimi Nagano has never sounded so lovely and the legendary Mr. Shadow has once again created a sound that’s cutting edge and classic at the same time.
